The publication prepared by Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) in cooperation with the JSC "Transport Clearing Chamber" on the basis of official statistics, including data of Federal Air Transport Agency ( Rosaviation) and the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport (Rostransnadzora).

The handbook contains statistical data on air transport. In accordance with the National Economic Activities Classification (NACE) civil aviation positioned as "Air transport". The data on comparison with the rail and road transport are presented.

The statistical handbook includes the number of aircrafts, financial situation of air transport, the passenger traffic by mode of transport.

Statistical data calculated in accordance with the modern methodology that allows to conduct international comparison.
